In the distance you can see the valley where the city of Sarajevo lies. This is one of my favorite spots for those days when you have nothing better to do than to chill out, relax and read a book. But I won't tell you how to get here. It's hard to find, it's tricky to get there and it's almost always deserted so you're free to do whatever you want there.

stunning photo. Great composition and really nice colours.
Did you increase the contrast or were the clouds as bright as that?
:iconvillewilson:
I underexposed the clouds manually, but actually you can get the same effect if you use polarisation filter on your camera.

underexposed? Wait, did I say too light or too dark? I meant they looked overexposed on the left.

I haven't actually been able to use a polarisation filter in practice yet, but I've looked over one. I've only got a compact digital camera - but I'm just itching to get a digital SLR :D

BTW, does your digital SLR have a synch cord for flash units? I've gotta do some experimental flash photography fairly soon, and I rather shoot digital than use film or slides - simply because I haven't used flash much before.

Of course, it's Nikon D70 and like all digital SLR cameras it has a synch cord which is being sold separate. The problem is, I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it was helluva problem to even buy this camera here, not to mention synch cord, so I have no actual experience in working with it. And yes, I also advise you to do those experimental shots digitally, because that's the best way to directly see the results :)

lagano počinjem dobivati osjećaj za detalje koje treba podeksponirati i one koje treba doeksponirati. Nisam još uvijek sasvim tu, no imam osjećaj da napredujem :)
